I’m having a bad day. I dont wnt to go anywhere because the bag smells and people around me with know. How do I deal with that?
Aww man. I’m so sorry your having a tough time. There are deodorizer drops. It basically neutralizes the smell. There’s one on the shop now page, if you click on the link you can see other options too. Some are also are lubricants that help with pancaking as well. Trust me IT GETS BETTER! Hey Krystal. Honestly I use to bottle up and not say a word but now I tell them. Everyone around knows the good, bad, ugly, and uglier when it comes to having an ostomy. And when I felt like they still just didn’t get it because there were people who would say stuff like ” I don’t know why you let the bag bother you” and other stuff, I found a support system by way of FB groups with people like me. It’s why I created this site. I needed an outlet and wanted to be here for anyone who feels alone or like they know no one like them.
Your NOT A FREAK OF NATURE. You’re A SURVIVOR!!!! It gets better, especially when you find your tribe & me I’m part of that so your there… Keep your head up!!!!
